SYNOPSIS: From Mexican auteur Manolo Caro comes Perfect Strangers, the electrifying story about a seemingly simple dinner. When a group of best friends get together during a lunar eclipse to share an intimate dinner in the tasteful house of Eva (Cecilia Suárez) and Alonso (Bruno Bichir), they suspect it’s just another typical night until the hostess proposes a game. The Hammer Museum hosted a special screening of “Perfectos Desconocidos” (Perfect Strangers) last night in Los Angeles. Attendees from the cast included Manolo Caro, Bruno Bichir and Manuel Garcia Rulfo and special guests included Sofia Vergara, Manolo Vergara, Eiza Gonzalez and Demian Bichir.

Palm Springs, CA (December 18, 2018) – The 30th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSIFF) has recently announced the complete line-up, including the U.S Premiere of Pantelion Films’ Perfectos Desconocidos (Perfect Strangers). The Festival will screen 223 films from 78 countries, including 48 premieres (4 World, 13 North American and 31 U.S.) from January 3-14, 2019. The line-up includes a focus on cinema from France, India and Mexico, Premieres, Talking Pictures, Book to Screen, Special Presentations, FLOS: Foreign Language Oscar Submissions, Gay!La, Local Spotlight, Modern Masters, True Stories, World Cinema Now, a 30-film retrospective of selections from past festivals (free screenings sponsored by Desert Care Network and National Endowment for the Arts), and more.

“I couldn’t be more excited to have the U.S. premiere of Perfectos Desconocidos at the Palm Springs International Film Festival this year,” said Director Manolo Caro. “It’s an honor to be able to represent Mexican cinema on a global scale as well as introduce our unique style of storytelling to broader audiences.
