Aqute Media and Vertical Entertainment have released the official trailer and poster for AMERICAN HANGMAN. This razor-sharp political thriller about an American citizen who takes the justice system into his own hands stars Donald Sutherland and Vincent Kartheiser.

SYNOPSIS: AMERICAN HANGMAN is a thriller built around a relentlessly ticking clock and a rapidly approaching deadline and verdict. A kidnapping, broadcast live on social media, turns into the trial of a judge who presided over a botched criminal case. This time, however, the audience gets to play judge and jury, deciding if the judge himself gets to live or die.

Annie Lennox debuted the music video for her single “Requiem For A Private War,” her first new song in eight years. The song was written for the film A Private War, which stars Rosamund Pike as the late, iconic journalist Marie Colvin. The film is directed by Academy Award nominated filmmaker Matthew Heineman. Jamie Dornan, Tom Hollander and Stanley Tucci co-star.

“Writing ‘Requiem for a Private War’ for the film ‘A Private War’ has not only given me an opportunity to honour Marie Colvin, but also aims to amplify the ‘truth to power’ message she fought all her life to convey to the world, regarding the atrocious consequences of warfare and its effects upon innocent civilian populations,” Lennox says.

In Disney’s “Mary Poppins Returns,” an all new original musical and sequel, Mary Poppins is back to help the next generation of the Banks family find the joy and wonder missing in their lives following a personal loss. 

Emily Blunt (“A Quiet Place,” “The Girl on the Train”) stars as the practically-perfect nanny with unique magical skills who can turn any ordinary task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure and Lin-Manuel Miranda (“Hamilton,” “Moana”) plays her friend Jack, an optimistic street lamplighter who helps bring light—and life—to the streets of London.

“Mary Poppins Returns” is directed by Rob Marshall (“Into the Woods,” “Chicago”). 

The screenplay is by David Magee (“Life of Pi”) and the screen story is by Magee & Marshall & John DeLuca (“Into the Woods”) based upon the Mary Poppins Stories by PL Travers. 

The producers are John DeLuca, p.g.a., Rob Marshall, p.g.a. and Marc Platt, p.g.a. (“La La Land”) with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer.

The film also stars Ben Whishaw (“Spectre”) as Michael Banks; Emily Mortimer (“Hugo”) as Jane Banks; Julie Walters (“Harry Potter” films) as the Banks’ housekeeper Ellen; Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and introducing Joel Dawson as the Banks’ children, with Colin Firth (“The King’s Speech”) as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank’s William Weatherall Wilkins; and Meryl Streep (“Florence Foster Jenkins”) as Mary’s eccentric cousin Topsy. 

Angela Lansbury appears as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from the PL Travers books and Dick Van Dyke is Mr. Dawes, Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth’s character.

PL Travers first introduced the world to the no-nonsense nanny in her 1934 children’s book “Mary Poppins.” 

However, the subsequent adventures of Mary Poppins remained only on the pages of the seven other PL Travers’ books…until now. 

“Mary Poppins Returns” is drawn from the wealth of material in these additional books. 

The film takes place in 1930s Depression-era London 24 years after the first film was set. Michael Banks works for the same financial institution that employed his father and still lives at 17 Cherry Tree Lane with his three children, Annabel, John and Georgie and their housekeeper Ellen. 

Carrying on in her mother’s tradition, Jane Banks campaigns for workers’ rights and provides a helping hand to Michael’s family. 

When the family suffers a personal loss, Mary Poppins magically re-enters their lives and with Jack’s help, brings joy and wonder back into their home.

As if April wasn’t already the best month of the year (I’m a biased April baby, don’t mind me)…we now get to see the latest AVENGERS film when it’s released in theaters April 26!

SYNOPSIS: After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe for once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.

I just watched the trailer and –back to my opening statement– Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap! Are you as excited as I am to see what happens?!?! There has to be a way that everyone survived, right? Maybe they’re all trapped in some parallel universe controlled by Doctor Strange? What are your theories?? Let me know!

This documentary will follow Daisy Coleman’s journey of healing from lifelong trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, using EMDR

Saving Daisy will pick up where the Netflix film “Audrie & Daisy” left off.

This documentary will follow Daisy Coleman’s journey of healing from lifelong trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, through treatment using EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) Therapy.

Millions of people from all over the world came to learn about Daisy’s sexual assault when her story went viral and was followed by a feature length documentary.

But that was only the beginning of her journey as a survivor.

With this film, Daisy has joined forces with a team of filmmakers and fellow survivors to follow her vulnerable PTSD recovery process, in an effort to inspire other survivors and their families in recovery.

They will follow her through her EMDR treatment to unlock the layers of trauma from her assault, the tragic death of her father prior to the assault, as well as the recent sudden loss of her younger brother.

Daisy has faced more trauma in her 21 years than anyone should ever be faced with in a lifetime, but this film will prove to survivors everywhere that healing is possible.

The goal and objective of this project is to record the impact and measurable results of EMDR treatment on a rape survivor and use this research and findings to ultimately create a narrative feature film based on Daisy Coleman’s life and recovery through EMDR.

In multiple research reports from 2015-2018, EMDR has shown the most long term and positive results in reducing PTSD trauma and triggers, specifically in rape survivors and trauma victims. 

Daisy has already attended a consultation session with her new EMDR specialist Dr. Heather Westbarn and is ready/excited for the next phases of her treatment. 

One of the most important goals of this process is to get Daisy the treatment she needs and deserves, so that she can thrive and fulfill her highest potential. 

But Daisy being who she is, wants her journey to be able to help others as well, so the making of this short documentary will bring awareness to EMDR as a treatment tool for assault survivors and give them the hope and will to want to thrive too.

This short documentary will become part of the learning tools offered by SafeBAE, the national organization that Daisy helped to found in 2015, which works to prevent sexual assault among teens.

Its already hard to talk about sexual assault, and no one even knows where to start when it comes to healing.

Daisy is a female artist, hero and advocate whom is brave in being vulnerable enough to share this next part of her journey.

In addition to this kick ass woman in this film, the filmmakers are approaching the industry at a new angle. 

This is a pivotal moment for everyone involved in the project and everyone involved wants you all to be apart of this beautiful project. 

Those involved are not just doing this for the sake of the film, they are also making this to spread awareness about this incredible therapy and prove to survivors that they can heal. 

This is also not the only thing under their belt, as mentioned above, in addition to this documentary they have a feature film in the process, being written with many celebrities attached, based on Daisy’s life and a tribute to her younger brother Tristan Coleman, whom passed away on June 19, 2018. 

Hitting the goals for this project will not only help heal Daisy but also ensure more projects around this issue in the near future.

In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” video-game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Netflix holds India’s first-ever world premiere for a major Hollywood release

Mumbai hosted its first-ever global premiere for a major Hollywood film this week, as Netflix showcased Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle to an exclusive audience.

Director and actor Andy Serkis walked the red carpet with his fellow cast mates Christian Bale, Freida Pinto, Rohan Chand and Louis Ashbourne Serkis.

Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Kareena Kapoor Khan, who bring the much-loved characters to life in Hindi, also joined their international
cast mates at the premiere.

The Mumbai event marked the beginning of the Mowgli global tour, with screenings taking place in London and Los Angeles, before the movie premieres globally to Netflix members on December 7, 2018.

You guyssssssssss…..I LITERALLY CAN NOT!!!

I caught the official teaser trailer for the live action version of THE LION KING last night and I can not wait until July 19, 2019! This is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time and I was a bit worried about how it would look as a live action movie. But this is on another level! I mean, seriously! Who hasn’t bawled their eyes out during THAT scene?? Can you imagine it in live action??? Disney, please let everyone know where we can send our therapy bills for payment. K, thanks, bye.

This December, get ready for a fairy tale that gives zero F’s.

To kick off the holiday season, the (sometimes) good guy in red is delivering the official trailer for ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL from 20th Century Fox! Audiences of almost all ages will soon be able to enjoy the Merc with the Mouth’s reimagining of Deadpool 2 filtered through the prism of childlike innocence.

“Fox has been asking for a PG-13 basically since the start in 2006,” Ryan Reynolds told Deadline. “I’ve said no since 2006. Now, this one time, I said ‘Yes’ on two conditions. First, a portion of the proceeds had to go to charity. Second, I wanted to kidnap Fred Savage. The second condition took some explaining…”

Fred Savage will join Reynolds in new scenes for ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL in an homage to Savage’s starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic THE PRINCESS BRIDE. Fred remarked, “while my participation in this film was anything but voluntary, I am happy to learn that Fudge Cancer will be the beneficiary of this shameless cash grab”

For every ticket sold, $1 will go to the charity Fudge Cancer – previously known as Fuck Cancer, who have graciously changed their name to be more PG-13 friendly for the 12 days of ONCE UPON A DEAD POOL’S release.


ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL opens in theaters for a limited engagement this holiday season from December 12 through December 24, 2018!

I AM PAUL WALKER, a feature-length documentary film exploring the life and legacy of actor Paul Walker, will be released on November 30, 2018, the fifth anniversary of the actor’s tragic passing, by Virgil Films. A DVD will be released December 4, 2018.
