Selma Blair shared that the film “is also a throwback to ‘Cruel Intentions,’ except I’m playing the mom instead of Christine Baranski.”

Plus, AFTER author Anna Todd had the film in mind when casting her, adding “Selma Blair as Carol is my teenage dreams coming true, because I loved ‘Cruel Intentions.’ Selma and Jo not only look alike, their spirits are the same. I honestly feel like every single person in the cast is exactly who they should be, even if they are these huge movie stars.”

Director: Jenny Gage
Writer: Susan McMartin, based upon the book “After” by Anna Todd
Cast: Josephine Langford, Hero Fiennes Tiffin
Producers: Courtney Solomon, Mark Canton, Jennifer Gibgot, Anna Todd, Aron Levitz, Meadow Williams and Dennis Pelino
