Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that introduces the MCU’s first stand-alone, female-franchise title character—Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. When we first meet Danvers, she already possesses her superhero powers, having left her earthly life behind and become a member of an intergalactic elite Kree military team called Starforce, led by their enigmatic commander, Yon-Rogg. But after Danvers has trained and worked with the Starforce team, and become a valued member, she finds herself back on Earth with new questions about her past. While on Earth she quickly lands on the radar of Nick Fury, and they must work together against a formidable enemy in the form of the Skrulls—the notorious Marvel bad guys made even more dangerous by their shape-shifting abilities—and their leader, Talos, who is spearheading a Skrull invasion of Earth.

Based on the beloved Marvel comic-book series, first published in 1967, “Captain Marvel” stars Academy Award® winner Brie Larson (“Room,” “Kong: Skull Island”) as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel,  Samuel L. The film also includes a talented supporting cast that features Djimon Hounsou (“Blood Diamond,” “Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Korath, Lee Pace (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey,” “Guardians of the Galaxy”) as Ronan, Lashana Lynch (“Bulletproof,” “Brotherhood”) as Maria Rambeau, Gemma Chan (“Crazy Rich Asians,” “Humans”) as Minn-Erva, Rune Temte (“Eddie the Eagle,” “The Last Kingdom”) as Bron-Char, Algenis Perez Soto (“Sugar,” “Isolated Victim”) as Att-Lass, Mckenna Grace (“Gifted,” “I, Tonya”) as Young Carol Danvers and Akira Akbar (“Grey’s Anatomy”) as Monica Rambeau.

Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck (“Half Nelson,” “Sugar,” “Mississippi Grind”). The story is by Nicole Perlman & Meg LeFauve and Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck & Geneva Robertson-Dworet, and the screenplay is by Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck & Geneva Robertson-Dworet.

Directors Boden and Fleck’s creative team also includes director of photography Ben Davis (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange”), production designer Andy Nicholson (“Gravity,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”), costume designer Sanja Hays (“The Fate of the Furious,” “Star Trek Beyond”), editors Elliot Graham (“Steve Jobs,” “Molly’s Game”) and Debbie Berman (Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming”), visual effects supervisor Christopher Townsend (Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”), special effects supervisor Dan Sudick (MarvelStudios’ “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Black Panther”) and composer Pinar Toprak (“The Angel,” “The Challenger”).

32 New Character Posters Revealed for AVENGERS: ENDGAME

IMG_7921Ahhhh!!! Good morning, movie lovers!

I am so excited about this particular post. Avengers: Infinity War was one of my favorites, despite so many of our favorites turning to dust. UGHHHH. I can’t wait to see where they take this because, I mean, the universe simply can’t stay this way.

Marvel Studios released 32 character posters yesterday that are absolutely incredible! The release of these posters marks the one month countdown for the release of AVENGERS: ENDGAME, which hits theaters April 26th.

SYNOPSIS: After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe.

Here are the posters for the remaining allies:

IMG_7920

And, sadly, these are the posters for those we lost in Avengers: Infinity War. Thanks a lot, Thanos!

IMG_7919

What were your thoughts when you first saw these posters? I loved the creativity of it all. We usually don’t get this many characters posters, but with a cast like this, I guess it was inevitable. I love how the ones we lost in Avengers: Infinity War are in black & white. From a creative perspective, I thought that was awesome! But we’re gonna need all of those restored to full color, thank you very much!

I seriously can not wait to see this in the theater!

The First SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Trailer Is Here & We’re Not Mad At It

In fact . . . we’re loving it!!

img_5776

Tom Holland is by far my favorite Spider-Man. I’m curious to see who agrees! And yes, even though every time I see Holland I think of him on Lip Sync Battle dancing to Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’ (YouTube that. You can thank me later).

Anyway, the trailer looks so good and I can not wait to catch this!

SYNOPSIS: Peter Parker and his friends go on summer vacation to Europe, where Peter finds himself trying to save his friends against a villain known as Mysterio.

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME | Hits theaters July 5th

Marvel’s THE PUNISHER: Season 2 | Returns to Netflix January 18th! Watch the Date Announcement [Video]

img_5575

Lawddddddddd!!!!

I am SO ready for Season 2!!!! Ok, maybe I’m not!!

SYNOPSIS: The series revolves around Frank Castle, who uses lethal methods to fight crime as the vigilante “the Punisher”, with Jon Bernthal reprising the role from Daredevil.

I can’t wait to see what happens this season! I mean, let’s be honest . . . Jon Bernthal’s portrayal of Frank Castle is one of the best ruthless vigilante performances and Ben Barnes as Billy Russo is that gorgeous villain you hate to love and love to hate lol.

In a few interviews, Ben Barnes has said that “Jigsaw” will be more of a metaphorical concept now that he’s trying to piece together what happened. Not gonna lie, when I saw him all bandaged up at the end of the first season, I was worried about what he’d look like in Season 2. I’m terrible, I know. Don’t judge me!

Season 2 is sure to have some more of the incredible chemistry between these two characters, along with some fantastic supporting roles. I can not wait! For now, enjoy the teaser trailer that Netflix released today.

AVENGERS: ENDGAME | New Trailer & Poster | In Theaters April 26!

IMG_4958Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap!

As if April wasn’t already the best month of the year (I’m a biased April baby, don’t mind me)…we now get to see the latest AVENGERS film when it’s released in theaters April 26!

SYNOPSIS: After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe for once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.

I just watched the trailer and –back to my opening statement– Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap! Are you as excited as I am to see what happens?!?! There has to be a way that everyone survived, right? Maybe they’re all trapped in some parallel universe controlled by Doctor Strange? What are your theories?? Let me know!

And don’t forget to check out the trailer:
