HEADLINE TOUR ANNOUNCED
SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2019
Archie Faulks has released his beautiful new song ‘Willing To Learn’. Intertwined with stunning strings and stark keys among Archie’s alluring vocals, the new track is about being led astray and living in the now.
Regarding the song Archie says, “‘Willing To Learn’ is a song about sleeping with someone you know is trouble and there is something about them being trouble that keeps drawing you back in. They are more experienced than you are, in many ways, and you want to learn from them; namely how to relinquish worry of the future and just occupy the present moment. It’s a song that when I play it live evokes very vivid memories and emotions – I see it as a bit of a coming of age anthem. Thinking that you are getting to grips with what you are and what you like then meeting someone who changes all of that – an ode to the endless possibilities in life.”
‘Willing To Learn’ follows a string of singles released since Archie emerged last year including ‘Wonderful’, ‘Hung Up’, ‘Blackout’ and ‘It Rains’. The singles have proved radio hits with support coming from Radio 1 and Radio X and they have also clocked up over 2 million streams across Apple Music and Spotify.
Archie has been making a strong statement on the live scene this year, completing his first ever headline tour, while also going down a storm at festivals including The Great Escape and Live At Leeds. He has also been touring the UK and Europe with the likes of Isaac Gracie, Rue Royal, Luke Sital-Singh and Delilah Montagu.
Archie is hitting the round again this autumn for a short headline tour where he will play shows in Brighton, Leeds and Cardiff. Tickets are on sale now via Music Glue and full dates can be found below:
