Now…lets talk about this movie. π€
6 college students decide to make a documentary for their graduation project – A documentary about one of the most notorious haunted houses in America…Lafitte Plantation. They pack all their ghost hunting equipment (which is not a lot) and all their camera gear. Once it goes dark…all hell breaks loose! π±
π: I can’t brag about anything. I really wanted to like this movie. βΉοΈ I’m not saying I hated it. I guess I just expected more from the trailer is all. I was hoping to get freaked out or scared…but…nope. π
π: For me…It took too long to get to the plantation and when the killings started…those were too quick. No blood. I needed blood…something. I would have liked seeing some of the plantation items killing those fools…that would have been cool. π It kind of felt like The Blair Witch Project meets Paranormal Activity…but I’ve seen that already…I was just hoping for something different…something taken to the next level. π
Keep in mind folks…if it didn’t work for me…it doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. π€ If you check it out – let me know.
I give THE FINAL PROJECT…a 2 out of 5 popcorns. Man. I really wanted to like it more.

Hey movie peeps!! Β I caught this trailer last night and thought I’d share the hilarity!Β Zac Efron has recently proven to be quite a force in the world of comedy films, and if Anna Kendrick’s Twitter humor is any indication…this is sure to be a hit!
Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think!
SYNOPSIS:Β Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam Devine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by the uncontrollable duo.
When her heart is stolen by a seductive stranger, a young woman is swept away to a house atop a mountain of blood-red clayβ a place filled with secrets that will haunt her forever. Between desire and darkness, between mystery and madness, lies the truth behind Crimson Peak. From the imagination of director Guillermo del Toro (Panβs Labyrinth) comes a terrifying, gothic romance masterpiece starring Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Hunnam.

Written By: Guillermo del Toro and Matthew Robbins
Starring: Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Charlie Hunnam, Jim Beaver
Synopsis:Β In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds – and remembers.
It’s been a while since I’d heard anything regarding Crimson Peak, so when I had the opportunity to watch and review it, I was pretty excited! Β Admittedly, it’s not my favorite film of all time, but I did actually enjoy it. Β The trailer is rather misleading, as it jumbles up the timeline a bit, but it was intriguing nonetheless. Β Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland, Jane Eyre) is wonderful as Edith Cushing, an aspiring writer of a ghost story and a loving daughter of her widowed father. Β Twice in her life, Edith is visited by her mother’s spirit, who warns her of a place called Crimson Peak. Β The words don’t hold much meaning until she meets Thomas Sharpe (Hiddleston) and his sister, Lucille (Chastain). Β While I enjoyed the film and the mystery of it all, I wish the fact that Thomas and Lucille had a secret agenda wasn’t as obvious from the very beginning. Β It was missing the shock factor for me. Β Also, who the heck would live in an ancient home with red clay seeping through the walls and floor boards?? Β Calling the estate Crimson Peak because of the clay turning the fallen snow red was enough for me. Β Despite that, I still thought the storyline was interesting, and the actors were all fantastic! Β I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Returning stars Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne are joined by ChloΓ« Grace Moretz forΒ Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, the follow-up to 2014βs most popular original comedy.Β Nicholas Stoller again directs in a film that follows what happens when the will of parenthood goes against the bonds of sisterhood.
Now that Mac (Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Byrne) have a second baby on the way, they are ready to make the final move into adulthood: the suburbs.Β But just as they thought theyβd reclaimed the neighborhood and were safe to sell, they learn that the new occupants next door are a sorority even more out of control than Teddy (Efron) and his brothers ever dreamed of being.
Tired of their schoolβs sexist, restrictive system, the unorthodox ladies of Kappa Nu have decided to start a house where they can do whatever the hell they want.Β When Shelby (Moretz) and her sisters, Beth (Kiersey Clemons) and Nora (Beanie Feldstein), find the perfect place just off campus, they wonβt let the fact that itβs located on a quiet street stand in their way of parties as epic as the guys throw.
Forced to turn to the one ex-neighbor with the skills to bring down the new Greeks next door, the Radnersβalongside best friends Jimmy (Ike Barinholtz) and Paula (Carla Gallo)βbring in charismatic Teddy as their secret weapon.Β If he can infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, the thirty-somethings will shutter the Kappasβ home.Β But if they think that their neighbors are going down without a fight, they have severely underestimated the power of youthful ingenuity and straight-up crazy.Β Β www.neighbors-movie.com

Six college students have found the ultimate graduation project: A documentary about one of the most notorious haunted houses in America. Lafitte Plantation is a Civil War landmark with a dark past, complete with stories of dead soldiers, murdered families, and restless shadows roaming its abandoned corridors. No one has entered Lafitte in years – until now. Venturing deep into the backwoods of Louisiana and outfitted with high-tech recording equipment, the intrepid filmmakers think theyβre ready for anything. But something is watching, and as darkness falls and their fears come to life, one by one, theyβll learn the terrible secret of Lafitte.
