A reimagining of the iconic Norman Lear’s classic sitcom, “One Day at a Time” is an hilarious and heartfelt comedy that follows three generations of a Cuban-American family navigating the ups and downs of life.

A newly-single mom and military veteran journeys through the triumphs and tribulations that come with raising two strong-willed, mega-millennial children, all the while enlisting the “help” of her old-school mother and her building manager-turned-invaluable confidant.

Through an contemporary lens, “One Day at a Time” offers a glimpse at what life looks like, in good times and bad — and how those around you somehow make it all worthwhile.”One Day at a Time” stars Justina Machado, Rita Moreno, Stephen Tobolowsky, Todd Grinnell, Isabella Gomez and Marcel Ruiz.

“FELIPE ESPARZA: TRANSLATE THIS,” the very first HBO comedy stand-up special from the comedian who is widely known for his hilarious antics of growing up in East Los Angeles and which aired on the network on September 30, will be released by All Things Comedy Records digitally alongside a very limited-edition vinyl album on Dec. 1.

The special was shot at the San Jose Improv in San Jose, CA and sees Esparza humorously discussing topics such as immigration, translating for his parents, being a once-not-so-great single dad while dating single moms, his current challenges in raising his blond-haired, blue-eyed stepson, and more.

Fans will also be able to purchase one of 500 numbered vinyls exclusively on FelipesWorld.com, which will be a double album that will feature a full hour of audio, poster and a digital download card.

“I am very excited to release this album! It is a much more personal hour of stand-up, that truly covers most of my life. I dig further into my personal experience as an immigrant, my past life as an addict, a not-so-great father, my new life as a recovered addict, a husband and a stepfather living a domesticated life while still being a little wild inside” Esparza said.

The digital album will be available for purchase on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon and Tidal.

Select tracks will also be available on the leading streaming sites, including Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube Music, Microsoft Groove, ClaroMúsica, Saavn and MediaNet.For fans who want to see him in-person, Esparza will kick-off his “Bad Decisions” tour on Dec. 8 where he will explore his past tough decisions with comedic flare.

The Skylanders are back in action protecting the realm.

In the animated series from Activision Blizzard Studios, “Skylanders Academy” follows the heroic adventures of Spyro (Justin Long), Eruptor (Jonathan Banks), Stealth Elf (Ashley Tisdale), Jet-Vac (Jonny Rees), Pop Fizz (Bobcat Goldthwait) and their team of young warriors as they travel the vast Skylands universe protecting it from evil-doers.

Created by Eric Rogers (Futurama) and based on the popular Skylanders® videogame franchise, the action-comedy centers on the band of heroes as they train under the watchful eye of Master Eon (Chris Diamantopoulos) learning how to keep peace and protect their homeland from the constant threat of villainous forces.Along with a new class of cadets, and newcomers Cynder (Felicia Day) and Sprocket (Grey Griffin), the team returns in an action-packed “Skylanders Academy Season 2” that finds our heroes seeking answers from the past.

Best known for a raw and real comic sensibility, actor and comedian Felipe Esparza stars in his first stand-up on the network when “FELIPE ESPARZA: TRANSLATE THIS” debuts simultaneously on HBO and HBO Latino Sept. 30 (10:00-11:10 p.m. ET/PT) during Hispanic Heritage Month.

The special will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and affiliate portals.

Appearing at the San Jose Improv in San Jose, Cal., Esparza finds humor in his unique life experiences while discussing topics such as immigration, his ongoing difficulty translating for his parents, being a once-not-so-great single dad while dating single moms, his current challenges in raising his blond-haired, blue-eyed stepson, and more.

The winner of “Last Comic Standing” in 2010, Esparza has appeared on numerous TV shows, including “Superstore” (in a recurring role), “The Tonight Show,” “Lopez Tonight,” “Premium Blend,” “The Eric Andre Show,” “Comic View” and Galavisión’s “Que Locos,” where he made more appearances than any other comedian.

His film credits include “The Deported” and “I’m Not Like That No More,” a feature based on his stand-up comedy, as well as his first stand-up special, “They’re Not Gonna Laugh at You.”

FOX’s TV shows have been breaking boundaries and paving the way for minority for the past few years and other networks have followed.

This Thursday, FOX’s “Love Connection” makes another breakthrough with it’s first openly lesbian contestant.

This episode features Liz Baxter, the show’s first openly lesbian single, who is sent on three blind dates with the hope of finding a love connection.

She then tells all in front of a live studio audience, as her dates also react.

One of Liz’s dates is not out to her family and comes out to them on national television.

Also featured on the episode is single Evan Jones, a networking engineer and photographer from Atlanta.

In celebration of teen TV drama phenomenon “Pretty Little Liars’” seventh and final season, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood will spotlight the popular series with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes special exhibit featured on the tour for a limited time only.

From June 15 to August 15, 2017, “Pretty Little Liars: Made Here” will provide fans with the opportunity to see and experience a collection of authentic props and wardrobe from the show for the first time, including iconic costumes worn by the show’s five lead characters: Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson), Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) and Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse).
The special exhibit will be located insideWarner Bros.’ interactive soundstage, Stage 48: Script to Screen, where guests experience each stage of the production process while exploring original props, costumes, and sets from some of the studio’s most legendary films and television shows that have entertained the world for more than 90 years.In addition to authentic character wardrobes from the beloved series, “Pretty Little Liars: Made Here” will also showcase a variety of memorable set design elements from the show, including a recreation of A’s lair, complete with costumes, props, and décor; all five “Pretty Little Liars” dolls; select pieces from the Caleb, Ezra, and Toby characters, including Toby’s Rosewood police uniform; the Liar’s Lament “endgame” board; Radley Sanatorium; Halloween/Masquerade Ball episode costumes; and an interactive green-screen photo opportunity.

Marking another milestone in his 40-year long career, Late-night television host, Platanito (whose birth name is Sergio Verduzco) is set to make his mainstream television debut on May 17 at 10:30 p.m. on TV Land’s “Lopez,” a semi-autobiographical sitcom starring renowned actor and comedian, George Lopez.

Lopez, who had already developed a friendship with Platanito and had appeared twice in his show, created a special guest role for him.

The episode sees Lopez emerge from a horrible setup and on a quest to save his reputation with Hispanics from the resulting chaos.

To do so, Manolo (Anthony “Citric” Campos) recommends for him to go on “Noches con Platanito” to save his career, since he is like the Jimmy Fallon in Spanish.

“Noches con Platanito,” which airs on weekdays on Estrella TV (Liberman Broadcasting) at 9 p.m. is the only Spanish-language late night talk show of its kind and will soon reach its 500th episode this fall.

“It’s such an honor for me to collaborate with the great George Lopez. We’ve developed a cool friendship. George has been very supportive of my show the times we’ve had him as a guest on Noches Con Platanito. Having the chance to participate in his show has been one of those great magical moments in my career,” Verduzco said.
