SYNOPSIS: When a mysterious disappearance brings Klaus back to New Orleans, Hope looks forward to the prospect of seeing her father again. However, when the dark magic that had been keeping them apart begins to manifest in dangerous ways across the city, Vincent turns to Ivy for guidance about what it may mean. Elsewhere, Marcel returns to New Orleans amidst increased tensions between the supernatural factions, while Freya makes a decision about her future with Keelin. Finally, Roman’s surprise visit to the Mikaelson compound forces Hope to reveal some dark truths about her family.

Auditions for “La Voz” Will Begin this Summer in Miami, Puerto Rico, New York, Chicago, San Antonio and Los Angeles

Telemundo announced that Global Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi, is the first Coach to join the newly announced La Voz, the Spanish-language version of NBC’S hit singing competition The Voice, coming for the first time to U.S. Hispanic television in 2019. Three other Coaches will join the multi award-winning artist in the first non-scripted program to be produced at Telemundo Center in Miami, where Coaches will be in search for the nation’s most promising unknown Hispanic vocalists and make their decisions based solely on one factor, La Voz (The Voice).

“I feel honored to join Telemundo’s La Voz as a Coach for the U.S. Hispanic audience.” said Fonsi. “I have been fortunate to be a Coach on the show in other countries, and I am extremely happy to finally be able to do it at home in the U.S., because it’s always been a wonderful experience. There is so much talent in our community and nothing makes me happier than being part of a platform that promotes Latin music’s new artists,” he concluded.

With numerous awards and unprecedented achievements, Luis Fonsi continues to break world records, cross borders and make history with his music. Recently, “Despacito” completed 52 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Song list, one year being the most listened-to single of Latin music, another historic milestone worthy of celebration. His latest global hit “Échame La Culpa” featuring Demi Lovato, continues to dominate Top 10 charts, has certified Gold and Platinum in multiple countries and the video has accumulated more than 1.2 billion views to date. The Puerto Rican singer and songwriter, has won a total of five Latin Grammy Awards, and most recently seven 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards and is a finalist in seven categories at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. Fonsi recently completed his first tour in Brazil, and will continue the successful “Love & Dance World Tour” in several countries including Panama, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Ecuador.

Castings for the first season of La Voz will begin in Miami on Saturday, June 23, followed by Puerto Rico (June 30), New York (July 7), Chicago (July 14), San Antonio (July 21) and Los Angeles (July 21 & 28), for vocalists 18 years of age an over. For the first time ever, Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Singapore are partnering with Netflix to bring “Stranger Things” to life at this year’s “Halloween Horror Nights” events.

Fans of the series will get the chance to brave the Upside Down and confront the supernatural as each park debuts all-new mazes inspired by season one of the critically-acclaimed series.

The parallel universe, referred to as the Upside Down that terrorized the small town of Hawkins, Indiana in Netflix’s mega-hit “Stranger Things,” will bring the chittering, predatory Demogorgon to “Halloween Horror Nights” to stalk unwitting guests as they encounter iconic scenes, characters and environments from the mesmerizing series.

​Working collaboratively with Netflix, along with the creators and executive producer of the blockbuster series—Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer and Shawn Levy, the mazes at Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Singapore will be authentic representations of “Stranger Things,” designed to transport guests into artfullyrecreated scenes and storylines.

From the menacing Hawkins National Laboratory, under theU.S. Department of Energy, to the Byers home adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights and the eerie Upside Down woods oozing a shower of floating orb-like spores, the chilling new mazes will offer surprising twists and unexpected turns around every corner.

​Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights” is the ultimate Halloween event.

For more than 25 years, guests from around the world have visited “Halloween Horror Nights” to become victims inside their own horror film.

Multiple movie-quality mazes based on iconic horror television shows, films and original stories come to life season after season.

And, the streets of each park’s event are transformed into highly-themed scare zones where menacing scare-actors lunge from every darkened corner.

Halloween Horror Nights begins Friday, September 14 in Hollywood and Orlando and on September 28 in Singapore.

SYNOPSIS: Desperate to see her father Klaus after seven years, Hope resorts to drastic measures to bring her father back to New Orleans. Hayley attempts to minimize the fallout from Hope’s actions, but not before news of what she’s done ripples through the city. Meanwhile, Freya’s guilt over not being able to reunite her family gets in the way of her happiness with Keelin, while Rebekah struggles with her inability to fully commit to Marcel. Finally, struggling without Elijah by his side, Klaus’ murderous rampage throughout Europe leads to an unexpected encounter with Caroline Forbes.

Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to get nostalgic AF!

Entertainment Weekly revealed this morning that they have several collectible covers of their magazine that will be released on Friday, March 30th.

The exclusive covers feature the cast of Dawson’s Creek (James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips), and were shot by Marc Hom on March 12, 2018 in NYC. The additional reunion photos also feature cast members Kerr Smith, Meredith Monroe and Mary Beth Peil.

The cast reunited for the 20th Anniversary to reminisce about their time on the show.

Contestant Camson auditioned and took the challenge to be part of “Master Chef Junior” to sharpen his skills and learn more throughout no matter the outcome.

The opportunity to be around likeminded kids opened the opportunity to make friends and learn from each other, while having the judges give feedback helped sharpen his skills.

“It’s such a crazy thing being chosen out of 15,000 or so kids that auditioned for ‘Master Chef Junior,'” Camson said. “That’s just ridiculous even being chosen for it. even just being friends with everyone and making the experiences and memories with everyone.”

“Master Chef Junior” may be a competition but Camson said the kids were mostly very friendly and fun to be around.

But the person he most learned from was Chef Gordon Ramsey who instilled in Camson the concept of “No color, no flavor.”

From being a foodie, Camson got a passion for cooking and being adventurous with the food he tried.

Camson would help his parent in the kitchen and would get more and more responsibility as he got older, from there he started challenging himself to do more complex dishes.

Spicy food became Camson’s favorite and he will be cooking some on “Master Chef Junior” as well as taking some traditional dishes and putting a twist to them.

“With all the competing it was always very high energy and, you would think it would be very competitive with all the kids, and it was, it was also alot of fun,” Camson said.

“Master Chef Junior” contestant Emily started cooking when her babysitter would cook with her and show her all the gadgets they could use to cook.

Emily first learned to cook from her parents, but she would be excited to see her babysitter use different gadgets to make food.

“(The judges and mentors) helped me improve as a cook,” Emily said.

The judges would teach techniques and would encourage the contestants to gain as much knowledge as possible, but the contestants would gain experience from what they shared with each other.

The contestants would share techniques on how to cut ingredients and different ways to make different foods which was something Emily enjoyed.

“To know I was on (the show) made me feel special,” Emily said. “It’s so awesome to see so many people who love cooking as much as me.”

Emily’s passion for cooking was nurtured while being a part of “Master Chef Junior,” but also brought new interests to light.

Learning much more about cooking while on the show brought baking to Emily’s attention.

“I like cooking alot of savory food, but I’ve been leaning more towards baking now,” Emily said. “I feel like (baking) is a little more exciting because you can experiement more with the sweet flavors.”

One of the most important, yet least known activists of our time, Dolores Huerta was an equal partner in founding the first farm workers union with César Chávez.

Tirelessly leading the fight for racial and labor justice, Huerta evolved into one of the most defiant feminists of the 20th century — and she continues the fight to this day, at 87.

Featuring interviews with Gloria Steinem, Luis Valdez, Hillary Clinton, Angela Davis, her children and more, “Dolores” is an intimate and inspiring portrait of a passionate champion of the oppressed and an indomitable woman willing to accept the personal sacrifices involved in committing one’s life to social change.

“In the 1970s, the national grape boycott that Dolores Huerta helped organize played out in the small rural Minnesota farming community where I grew up — supported by our Catholic church along with tens of thousands of religious organizations across the country,” Lois Vossen, Independent Lens executive producer, said. “More than 40 years later, Dolores is still an indefatigable architect for social change on behalf of poor, underrepresented people, urging them to seek self-determination with her refrain ‘Si Se Puede’ (‘Yes We Can’).”

About Dolores Huerta
Dolores Clara Fernández was born on April 10, 1930, in Dawson, a small mining town in New Mexico; she spent most of her childhood and early adult life in Stockton, California, where she and her two brothers moved with their mother following their parents’ divorce. Independent and entrepreneurial, her mother was an active participant in community affairs.

After graduating from high school, Dolores earned a teaching degree, married and had two daughters. Seeing her students come to school with empty stomachs and bare feet inspired her lifelong commitment to correcting economic injustice. She found her calling as an organizer while serving in the leadership of the Stockton Community Service Organization (CSO). During this time, she founded the Agricultural Workers Association, set up voter registration drives and pressed local governments for barrio improvements.

SPLITTING UP TOGETHER looks like it’s going to be a hilarious new series for ABC! Each episode will run 30 minutes, with the Pilot episode airing March 27th. Will you be watching? Personally, I’d watch anything that Ellen DeGeneres has a hand in putting out. Her comedic timing is spot on, and I can’t wait to see what Jenna Fischer and Oliver Hudson have put together as the lead characters.

THE RIVERAS RETURNED MARCH 11 FOR THE MOST HONEST AND REVEALING SEASON YET

Love, secrets, unexpected break ups, brave revelations and challenges are everything that you will see in this upcoming season of The Riveras on UNIVERSO. The third and most revealing season yet offers viewers a deeper look into the lives of Chiquis, Jacqie, Mike, Johnny and Jenicka.

The family’s relatability has been key to the show’s success – it is raw, honest, funny at times and depicts the challenges that families go through.

“I think what makes our show unique is that we’re the only English language reality television show about a Hispanic family.” Johnny, the youngest Rivera goes on to say “we’re five siblings that all connect in different ways and I think our audience likes to see that. We don’t always agree on everything or get a long all the time, but at the end of the day we are a family and we stick by each other’s side no matter what.”

The 14-episode season offers viewers a lens into their lives as they face life challenges while supporting each other.  Chiquis unveils her relationship with Lorenzo and struggles with commitment issues while continuing to build her empire and the family legacy through her music career. Chiquis releases her new single “Quisieran tener mi lugar,” a duet with her mother. When asked about who she dedicates this song to, Chiquis said “My mom used to receive so much criticism for everything and anything she did. There were a few ladies especially that loved to criticize her and me as well. I’d like to dedicate that song to them.” Her second studio album, “Entre Botellas” was released on March 16th.

Mike takes a shot at stand-up comedy, while continuing to parent his autistic daughter Luna. “As a father of a young daughter with autism, I have learned that patience is the key to being a good parent.” He adds, “the child will always come first, and I think it is important for parents to know, especially if they are separated, that you have to put your differences aside and be selfless for your child.” Jenicka also has a few changes up her sleeve and surprises Mike with the news that she will be moving back in with Chiquis and embarks on a journey to pursue a career in plus-size modeling. Having recently come out via social media, Johnny introduces his partner Joaquin to his family and friends and graduates high school. While on a pursuit for happiness, Jacquie’s recent weight loss gives her a new sense of courage to begin a career in singing and be the best mom she can be to her three children.

Actress Danay Garcia has continued to be an unpredictable addition to the “Fear the Walking Dead” cast.

Season 3 was a long road for Garcia’s character Luciana and her survival was questioned until Garcia confirmed her return for season 4 on Instagram.

“It comes with the territory, you know, you come in, you come on board and give your absolute best and you give all you got and you can only hope that it will be taking you to the right places,” Garcia said. “Sometimes you end in the wrong spot.”

All the situations that come with being on on a show based in the Walking Dead universe means that there is no safety for the characters and at any moment situations can change.

The growth that comes with meeting characters, loosing characters and the evolution of the world these characters live in is part of the excitement of watching the show and Garcia said its the same reason its so exciting to be a part of the show and being open to going through all that.

For fans its always stressful seeing a fan favorite be put into tough situations because no one is safe in the Walking Dead universe.

“I think when you decide to do something like this you start to get that weird feeling like ‘Am I going to die?’ those are things that we as humans don’t like to think about. Especially when you create a character thats all about survival,” Garcia said. “You don’t want them to die because it’s a cool journey for you, as an actor.”

Garcia doesn’t get nervous for Luciana’s fate in “Fear the Walking Dead” because she is use to that feeling and has become accustomed to and expecting that script where her character dies since she’s been on the show for awhile now.

Season 3 ended with things scattered and characters separated again, but Garcia said even if she can’t give details season 4 will be exciting.

“I’m so happy by the way we are taking the story and the way it was left off. The Clark family at the dam and you don’t know who made it and who didn’t,” Garcia said. “I’m just excited for everyone to see what is cooking right now.”

The core of Luciana – her beliefs, her morals and who she is as a human – is something Garcia is comfortable with portraying, even when her Garcia’s own personality can be a contrast to her character.

Garcia said the courageous and brave Luciana has the complexity of having a vulnerable side which helps Garcia ground the character and relate her to all the strong women out in the real world right now.

Since meeting Victor Strand on “Fear the Walking Dead” audiences have seen the charismatic character go through many situations in style.

FTWD_S3_3D_BD_O-CardColman Domingo has a fantastic style of his own and is able to inject some of his own personality to his character Strand from the moment he auditioned.

“I think possibly I bring a bit of myself to the character. I know I have strong opinions about this character. It seems to be he’s in alignment with what I think Strand is style wise,” Domingo said. “That doesn’t often happen. Just when I first read the description of Victor Strand I had an idea about him, how he handles himself and how he moves through the world.”

Domingo auditioned for Strand in a bold way, showing up in an electric blue Hugo Boss suit, but it seems that the style choice has continued throughout.

There has never been a character like Victor Strand in the Walking Dead universe, the upfront style of making the unpopular decision that best fits the bigger picture makes survival the priority.

As seen through season 3, Strand uses his talents to be a useful component to everyone’s survival, but still doesn’t jeopardize the safety of himself or others who could be useful in surviving.

“I think that’s challenging for people. I tell people that if you look at the receipts of Victor Strand and all that he’s done, what he has done are very great humanitarian things,” Domingo said. “He may not give alot of information up, if he doesn’t feel he can handle it, or he will may keep you a little out of the loop in some way, if he doesn’t feel there’s any value you add to it.”

The fearlessness and resourcefulness of Strand is the reason Domingo has enjoyed playing this character. The challenges of surviving and the manner in which that brings out the morality of Strand continue to keep the character evolving in the eyes of the audience.

The relationships established by Strand come into play often in the series, from the initial meet up with Nick, and later on with Alicia, to the new found camaraderie with Madison. Strand grows closer with the Clark family because each individual brings something useful to the group and separate they are all still enough to survive.

“It’s a new way of establishing a relationship between a man and a woman. Knowing that in the apocalypse all bets are off, everything that we knew about male and female relationships are challenged because now we have to come to new agreements,”  Domingo said.

Domingo loves the fact that Strand is evolving always, and is able to switch off with Madison to be the dominant personality and lead when each one finds their strengths.

The dynamic between Strand and Madison grew in season three by then and a partnership is proposed which is much more than just something romantic, its something thats grown out of a mutual respect and love to which they each motivate each other to be their very best.

“That scene at the dam. I think thats the closest Victor is to a proposal to Madison. Of saying ‘Lets become partners, lets build something together, lets establish something for you and your kids and grow something here,'” Domingo said. “Which is an apocalyptic way of looking at things. We are re-assecing these relationships.”

Beyond the personal relationships, like many genre projects, “Fear the Walking Dead” deals with topics in the political climate by putting them in a different perspective, a more extreme perspective to give a view into the horrors that the mentality of the world can lead to.

Season 3 deals with segregation, with ownership, with survivalist making their own rules and just how much of civilized society survives when worst comes to worst.

“I think we’ve been exploring things that most television genre shows do not explore,” Domingo said. “I think season 3 has been a boarder story in many ways. About trying to get back across. In some ways we are dealing with Mexican-American relations, when there’s no borders anymore and who owns land and we are dealing with race, not even subtly.”

What’s up, everyone??

If you’ve been anywhere in the past 2 months, you should definitely be aware of the name Adam Rippon. He won over the hearts of (most) Americans throughout the 2018 Winter Olympics and he’s been making his way through the TV/Interview circuit ever since. This week he made an appearance on HOT ONES, where he had to feast on spicy wings with host Sean Evans.

My brother got me to watch a few episodes of HOT ONES on YouTube a few weeks ago, so I was stoked to find out that Adam would be on it this week! He’s hilarious in regular interviews, so throw some fiery wings in the mix and it was sure to make people cry with laughter.
