The rich palate-pleasing Butterbeer-flavoured hard pack ice cream is a delightful anddelicious new addition to the menu of Butterbeer items currently available, including such Butterbeer favorites as traditional, frozen and hot beverages, as well as Butterbeer Potted Cream and Butterbeer Fudge.

Reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread, Butterbeer ice cream is perfectly fine-tuned as a cool Hogsmeade treat and will be served at various carts located within Hogsmeade and at Three Broomsticks™.

Gathering inspiration from historic British taverns, the adjoining Hog’s Head pub features original draught beers and spirits created exclusively for the land, including Hog’s Head Brew, Dragon’s Scale, Wizard’s Brew and Fire Whiskey.

Telemundo announced that Global Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi, is the first Coach to join the newly announced La Voz, the Spanish-language version of NBC’S hit singing competition The Voice, coming for the first time to U.S. Hispanic television in 2019. Three other Coaches will join the multi award-winning artist in the first non-scripted program to be produced at Telemundo Center in Miami, where Coaches will be in search for the nation’s most promising unknown Hispanic vocalists and make their decisions based solely on one factor, La Voz (The Voice).

“I feel honored to join Telemundo’s La Voz as a Coach for the U.S. Hispanic audience.” said Fonsi. “I have been fortunate to be a Coach on the show in other countries, and I am extremely happy to finally be able to do it at home in the U.S., because it’s always been a wonderful experience. There is so much talent in our community and nothing makes me happier than being part of a platform that promotes Latin music’s new artists,” he concluded.

With numerous awards and unprecedented achievements, Luis Fonsi continues to break world records, cross borders and make history with his music. Recently, “Despacito” completed 52 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Song list, one year being the most listened-to single of Latin music, another historic milestone worthy of celebration. Abrand new HELLO KITTY store opened inside Universal Studios Hollywood with exclusive merchandise making Hello Kitty right at home in the theme park.

The theme park is already a must-see for tourist, but with Hello Kitty exclusives, fans of the theme park have even more to look forward to the next time they visit the park.

It may be just a small addition to the wonderful attractions of Universal Studios Hollywood, but it adds a new reason for even more fans to attend.

With Hello Kitty making itself a part of “King Kong,” “Psycho,” “E.T.,” “Jaws” and “Back to the Future,” fans young and old have a chance to experience the fascinating feline in a new way.

The shop’s exclusives sell out fast so fans need to be sure to grab them while they last, and go early to be able to have their choice of exclusive products.

Many of the fan favorites are also available from many of the Sanrio characters those young and young at heart have adored for years.

Some baked goodies are also available in the shape of Sanrio favorites.

Along with Hello Kitty, the animation studio store portion offers some incredible merchandise from many Illumination Entertainment films.

Many more additions to the park are to come, but for now enjoy Hogmeade at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, The Simpson’s at Springfield, USA and the many attractions available throughout the park.

Ardent fans of figure skating have become familiar with two-time and reigning National Champion Nathan Chen, but by the time the 2018 Winter Olympic Games are over, the world will be as well. Chen, the first skater to land five different quadruple jumps during a single program in competition, will be a key member of an immensely talented U.S. Figure Skating Team looking to grab Gold at the Olympics. He will also be the centerpiece of the 2018 Stars on Ice tour that will feature current National Champions, and many of the skaters vying for medals for the U.S. in the 2018 Winter Olympics. The Tour will visit 22 cities nationwide beginning in Fort Myers, FL on Friday, April 6th, and wrapping up in Portland, OR on Sunday, May 20th. This year’s Stars on Ice tour will put American fans front and center to experience the best of U.S. Figure Skating. A couple of first-time faces graced the top of the podium at this year’s National Championships in San Jose. Among those National Champions, who will also compete in the upcoming Winter Olympics, then return stateside to skate in the 2018 Stars on Ice tour, will be 2018 U.S. Ladies Champion Bradie Tennell, and 2018 National Ice Dance Champions Madison Hubbell & Zachary Donohue.

Returning to Stars on Ice this year, are Maia & Alex Shibutani, the brother-sister two-1323356447_STARSONICEStarBNWREL[1]time National Ice Dance Champions and three-time World medalists. Other Olympic medal hopefuls rejoining the tour include; National Champion Mirai Nagasu, 2017 U.S. Ladies Champion Karen Chen, and U.S. Champion Adam Rippon. The Emmy Award-winning production will also feature U.S. Olympic royalty, Ice Dance Gold Medalists Meryl Davis & Charlie White, as well as three-time National Champion and 2016 World Silver Medalist Ashley Wagner, and National Champion and huge crowd favorite, Jason Brown.

Universal Studios Hollywood Debuts the All-New DreamWorks Theatre

 

All-New DreamWorks Theatre With the Technologically-Advanced, Immersive Attraction “Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest” in Summer 2018


On the heels of the recent acquisition of DreamWorks Animation, Universal Studios Hollywood is setting the stage for the Summer 2018 debut of the all-new DreamWorks Theatre presenting the premier attraction, “Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest.”

​Inspired by the global blockbuster franchise, the attraction will take guests on a thrilling journey that fuses captivating storytelling with state-of-the art visual effects for a highly engaging experience.

​Created and produced by DreamWorks Animation and Universal Creative, “Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest” recounts a plot-filled story whereby on the morning of The Emperor’s Great Feast of Heroes, dragon warrior Po embarks on a wild and perilous mission to deliver the rare and precious Liquid of Limitless Power to the Palace, while enlisting guests to join him on the exciting adventure filled with raging rapids, river pirates, awesome magic and Kung Fu.

​With cutting-edge technology at the forefront of the multi-sensory attraction, “Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest” will introduce the first-ever integration of interior projection mapping designed toengulf guests in 180 degrees of immersive adventure.

Developed by the innovative team at Universal Creative, this never-before-adapted technique will depict a series of immersive and visually dynamic scenic designs that will transform within the interior space and enhance the story.

With detailing that is so precise, it will be near impossible to realize the projected imagery is a mere illusion.

Coupled with seven Christie 4K Boxer Cinema Projectors and 360 degree surround sound audio, sweeping physical effects from water to wind will empower guests to feel more like participants than spectators in the adrenaline-spiked adventure.

Featuring an original score by composer Germaine Franco, the storyline begins as guests enter the pre-show area of the theatre where they meet an array of DreamWorks characters who kick-off the attraction’s narrative.

From there, guests will enter the main theatre, complete with new ultra-plush, fully articulated seats that pivot and swivel in tandem with the 180-degree action.

The newly constructed building that houses the DreamWorks Theatre is inspired by Mission revival architecture and harkens back to the Golden Age of Hollywood’s Art Deco period of the 1920s, including a box office ticket seller booth, reminiscent of the time period and staffed by a three-dimensional Pinocchio character asleep on the job.

​As guests navigate past the ticket booth, through the flourishing outdoor garden and into the theatre queue, they will encounter a series of 36 movie posters that pay homage to DreamWorks Animation films.

Within the lobby, a selection of over 20 award statuettes will be on display, representing a sampling of the Golden Globe, Emmy, People’s Choice, Critic’s Choice, National Board of Review and Annie awards DreamWorks Animation has amassed from 2008 to 2015.

A collection of original sculpted maquettes of the “Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor’s Quest” characters will also be on display along with artifacts embodying magical powers that Po brought back from the Spirit Realm.
